The business challenge

Health camps at scale break without a digital spine.

Organising a health camp involves significant coordination before the first patient arrives. Venues, healthcare providers, diagnostic equipment and medicines all need to be confirmed and allocated. During the camp, patient data needs to be captured on-site, often in areas with limited connectivity, and that data needs to reach a central system accurately.

At 83 camps and growing across different locations and populations, managing without a purpose-built platform means coordination happens across phone calls, spreadsheets and paper. Patient data stays on paper or requires manual entry after the event. Outcome reports need to be compiled from multiple sources. Healium needed a platform that handled the full camp lifecycle digitally, with field data capture that worked reliably without depending on internet access.

Field teams use the mobile application for everything that happens on the ground during a camp. Patient information is captured digitally with offline capability, so data entry continues without connectivity and syncs automatically when a connection is restored. On-site and partner diagnostic and lab services are coordinated through the platform, with test results linked to patient records. Medicine and equipment inventory is tracked in real time with stock visibility available to administrators before and during each camp.
